We are a group of enthousiasts, passionate about the history of Antwerp, especially its more dark and ghostly aspects. Traditional tales and legends have always fascinated us. Over time, we got more interested in the history of our city and so we found a wealth of intriguing, often unknown stories. We felt that this treasure deserved to be known to a wider audience and so the ball started rolling...

In March 2007 we put on our high hats and went walking in the old town. A ghostwalk it became, inspired by the Anglo-saxon tradition of ghostly walks. We also added a whole new ingredient: that of folk culture and folk tales.

Meanwhile, the "high hats" have become a well-known sight in the old town. We now regularly walk at night-time past historical and dark spots, and bring a selection of stories as an ghostly evening walk.

We love to share with you our passion for history, folk tales and for Antwerp. therefore we invite you to walk with use on the Antwerp Ghostwalk. We bet that you will have as much fun as we have while getting to know the "ghosts of the town".
